Prep Transition Program
New Prep students are welcomed to Ss Peter & Paul’s in May when they come in with their parents for a meeting with the school Principal. In October the children attend a transition program every week for three weeks. During these sessions the children meet their teacher and their class members. They sing, dance and complete fun activities. The children are given the opportunity to spend time playing with their peers. They visit areas of the school like the library, toilets and playground to make them feel at ease about their new adventure.

Buddy Program
On the first day of Prep students are assigned a Year Six Buddy. The Buddies then take the new prep students out to the playground for their first play at Ss Peter & Paul’s. The Prep Students spend time working in class with their Year Six Buddy. The relationships established form an important bond for the children. The Buddy Program continues throughout the different year levels.

Uniform
Wearing a school uniform instils in the child a sense of pride and self-esteem. It creates an atmosphere of being a member of a larger community. After the initial purchase, it also alleviates the financial burden of casual wear.

All items are available to purchase from our Uniform Shop located at the school. Opening hours are communicated to parents at the beginning of the school year. Orders can be placed via the order form available on the school website. EFTPOS facilities are available.

The Uniform shop is located near the office area. You are welcome to complete an order form and lodge it at the school office for orders to be sent home.
